Tanzanian hip hop-cum-Bongo Flava artist and Tanzanian MP for Mikumi constituency Joseph Haule famously alias Professor Jay has supported Harmonize’s decision to leave Wasafi Records.
Professor Jay, one of the legends in Tanzania’s music industry has said considering Harmonize’s story, where he came from and how has been giving back to the society, fans and other artistes should support ‘Kwangwaru’ hitmaker. Speaking in a video shared on Instagram by Harmonize on Tuesday, Professor Jay said if Harmonize left Wasafi in peace, he should be allowed to follow his heart
“Harmonize has struggled from where he was, he is among the celebrities who inspire the youths. When you listen to his story, where he has come from until now, I think he deserves our support, we should give him everything he needs so that he helps others even more,” said Professor Jay. He added: “He is a special artiste with a special heart, he started giving back to the society even when he had nothing for himself. He shares everything with the poor. If he left Wasafi in good faith then let them give him support, let them bless him.”
Harmonize announced his exit from WCB a few months ago. However, his exit has created enmity between his fans and WCB fans who are seeing him as a traitor. He is currently working with his new team, Konde gang.
